Over the last year, as we have been expanding our dessert offerings through the food2go program, a few of my students have raved about their family recipe for tres leches cake, and asked if we could make it for sale. Absolutely, I said. The recipe that we ended up using is based upon the dessert that senior Daniel Garcia created for his senior project highlighting Puerto Rican cuisine. Everyone loved it!Â
