One of the most fun stations for the underclassmen once they get acclimated in the production kitchen is to be a part of the breakfast team. This station produces food for staff in the building by offering up a breakfast menu a few days a week. Though staff is always welcome to come in and dine in the dining room, by far the most utilized option is to have their food delivered.Â
Students in grade 9 and 10 get a first taste of what it is like to work on the "line". Orders come in through a POS ticket machine and then they get a chance to experience how important communication, time management, organization, and thinking ahead are in a professional kitchen.
