Overview

Bogan’s Journalism Club provides students with an exciting platform to explore the dynamic world of journalism. Students learn how to engage with their school and local community, host interviews, and report on local and global events.  The club nurtures an environment where students can collaborate on stories, receive constructive feedback, and produce content for our school’s newspaper.  By participating in the Journalism Club, students will not only gain a deeper appreciation for writing, but also develop essential life skills such as critical thinking, effective communication, and resilience.

Mission: To empower the next generation of journalists by providing a platform for students to express their voices, develop writing skills, and engage deeply with their school and local community. The club will foster a culture of inquiry, curiosity, integrity, and collaboration, ensuring students are well-equipped for the evolving world of journalism.

Vision:  To produce informed, ethical, and impactful storytellers who influence positive change. Students are guided to lead the way in fostering an informed and engaged global society
