Last Day of the Fall Term (12/5)／秋学期最終日について（１２月５日）

Time flies so fast and we are already approaching the end of the Fall term. Thanks to your great support, Saturday School had a great start to 2020 . We all really enjoyed teaching our students.
早いもので秋学期も終わりに近づいてまいりました。皆さまの多大なご協力のお陰で、2020年度サタデースクールは良いスタートを迎えることができ、生徒たちと楽しい学習時間を過ごすことができました。


We used to hold a Christmas Concert and invite the families on the last day of the fall term but we unfortunately had to cancel this event due to the spread of COVID-19. However we still wanted to plan something fun for the students and decided to plan an alternative activity. The CIS teachers band will play some Christmas songs in the big gym! Also we will have the Christmas lunch together served by the school kitchen, Cezars. This event is only for the students. We are sorry that we can't invite families this time due to the COVID-19 situation.
例年ですと秋学期最終日に家族の皆様を招待しクリスマスコンサートを開催するのですが、今年はコロナ禍の影響で残念ながら中止となってしまいました。しかし、生徒たちに何か楽しいことをしてあげたいと思い、代わりのイベントを企画いたしました。CIS教師のバンドがクリスマスソングを演奏してくれます！そしてスクールキッチンのシーザースによるクリスマスランチを一緒に食べます。今回は生徒のみのイベントになります。コロナ禍でご家族の招待はできませんのでご理解ください。


  1. There will be regular class until 10:55. A small concert by teachers band will start at 11:00 and the lunch at 11:40. Students will be dismissed at 13:00 as usual.
    最終日当日は10:55まで通常授業を行います。その後11:00から教師バンドによるミニコンサート、11:40からランチの予定です。生徒たちは通常通り13:00に下校します。


  1. n the big gym, we are going to space classes out and students must stay within their own group's space during the concert.
    体育館では、クラスごとに座り、クラス間に十分なスペースを取ります。コンサート中は生徒は自分のクラスのスペース内にいないといけません。


  1. Lunch will be provided by the school. You don't need to bring your home lunch. The menu is Cezars Roast Turkey, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Roasted Zucchini, Side Salad and Fresh Fruits. If your child has a food allergy, alternative food will be prepared.
    ランチは学校でご用意します。おうちからお弁当を持ってくる必要はありません。メニューはシーザースローストターキー＆マッシュポテトのグレイビーソースがけ、サイドサラダ、フルーツです。メニューの中に食物アレルギーのある方には代替えメニューが提供されます。


  1. Grade 1 to 6 classes will eat lunch in the cafeteria and all kinder classes will eat in their classrooms.
    １～６年生のクラスはカフェテリアで食べます。キンダークラスはそれぞれの教室で食べます。


  1. If your child will not ride a school bus on that day, please let the office know by the departure time.
    スクールバスを利用の方で、当日利用しない方は、出発時間までに必ずご連絡ください。


We hope that the students can enjoy a little early taste of Christmas with us. 生徒たちが少し早いクリスマスの雰囲気を楽しんでくれることを願っています。
