This is my fourth year as a school counselor at Hough High School.  I graduated from NC State with a Bachelor's degree in Biology then earned a Master's degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina.  I was a certified athletic trainer and high school science teacher before I got married and started my family.  After a break in my career, I returned to school and earned a Master's degree in Counseling from The College of William & Mary.

I have four children, two sons that recently graduated from college, a daughter in her junior year of college and one daughter in high school. During my free time, you can find me spending time playing Pickleball, going out to dinner with my husband and friends, or traveling.  My happy place is around water so I love being on the lake or at the beach.
