• Graduates and/or their parents would need to visit Student Services, during summer office hours, to pick up their diploma. The graduate and/or parent would need to show ID.

• Official Transcripts for RISING Seniors (c/o 2025) for college admissions will not be available until September 2024.  Per CMS Board Policy we are unable to run rank until the 2nd week of September.

• Current Graduates (c/o 2024) received a copy of their transcript with their diploma during graduation.  All official college transcripts will be sent through Naviance.

• Schedules will be released in early August.  There will be no schedule change requests for the 2024-25 school year.  Students had the opportunity to verify their course selections and make any course request changes during our Amnesty Week in early May.

• We have scheduled our rising Freshman Orientation for August 6th and August 11th from 9:00am - 11:00am. These sessions are for students only and for students who did not attend orientation in February 2024. Hough High School is also hosting four Freshman Connection Sessions for rising 9th grade students only. These sessions will be held between June 24 - July 26 (July 1 - 5 SCHOOL CLOSED). Classes are from 9:00am - 2:00pm on Monday - Thursday. Transportation is provided. Rising freshman will have the opportunity to experience Hough High School by:

• Core class enrichment

• CTE course offerings preparation

• CPR certification - Senior Graduation Credit offered for completion.

• Tour the school 

• Field Trips - CCPC and others

• Have fun and meet staff and students to make connections before school starts.

• We will have orientation for all students new to Hough, August 6th and August 13th from 9:00am - 11:00am.

• Students will have an opportunity to tour the building at that time.

• More details will be shared later in the summer. 

• School Counselors are 10 month employees and some work limited summer employment.  We will not conduct any college planning/advisement meetings during the summer months.  

• School Counselors will be conducting meetings with ALL Seniors on their caseloads in the month of September.  

• Please be patient with us as we work to get new students enrolled and schedules finalized the 1st couple of weeks of school.

• In the interim, you can visit our High School Planning Resources tab and select your grade level for a guide to assist you with planning.

• Your parent or guardian will need to stop by the Front Office during office hours with documentation from DMV to obtain the Drivers Eligibility Certificate.
