This is my 10th year in school health and my 2nd year at Hough High School!

I graduated from Wake Forest University with a BS in Health and Sport Science and then went on to get my BS in Nursing from Queens University of Charlotte. Prior to becoming a school nurse, I worked for 23 years at Presbyterian Hospital/Novant in Charlotte - most of that time as a neonatal intensive care nurse.

I grew up in Cincinnati, OH and have been living in the Charlotte area since 1992. I have two sons who are in college. When I am not at work, I enjoy entertaining and cooking for family and friends, gardening, exercising and spending time with my husband and dog, Cadi. In the summer, I try to spend as much time as I can in my favorite place - Mount Desert Island, Maine.
