This is my 24th year in CMS. I began in the district as a teacher, and have been a school counselor now for 15 years. This is my 13th year at Hough. Go Huskies!

I received my undergraduate degree from Appalachian State, and my Masters in Counseling from UNC Charlotte. I grew up in Greenville, SC and have been living in the Charlotte area since 1994.  When I am not at Hough,  I enjoy watching my twins, Oliver & Ruthie,  on the soccer field. We also enjoy spending time playing board games, watching some good TV, and walking our dogs Carl and Estelle. 

My advice for my students:

Fill your life with adventures and not just things.  

Trust the Process...you will end up where you are suppose to for college.
