This is my 8th year as a high school counselor, and my 4th year as a school counselor at Hough High School.  

I received my undergraduate degree from South Carolina State University, and my Masters in Counseling from South Carolina State University as well.  I am originally from Waldorf MD, but moved to Charlotte NC to pursue a career in educational counseling and think I have found my forever home.  When I am not in school I enjoy playing flag football, attending concerts/festivals, going to the movies, and trying new restaurants.

My advice for my students:  Never underestimate your influence even if you don't get the credit.
