Elementary Breakouts

This breakout is heavily scaffolded to support students as they learn the concept behind a digital breakout game.  First time digital breakout learners should start here. 

This breakout is designed for third grade students to review climate and weather topics as well as close reading.  

This breakout is designed for third grade students to review and reinforce math concepts from 2nd grade, multiplication, and computational thinking.

This breakout uses Google Earth and Google slides to reveal where Mrs. Plyler is moving.  Students will use their map skills to discover a mystery location.  

The Cost of Treasure Hunting

This breakout is all about European Exploration and the impact it had on the natives.  Key figures include: Columbus, Vespucci, Magellan, & DeSoto.

This space themed breakout requires skills spanning multiple grade. Some of the skills required include: telling time, planets, space related vocabulary and math conversions.  

This breakout is about the Legend of Sleepy Hollow.  It includes close reading, language arts, and basic multiplication practice.

This breakout is about the food chain and photosynthesis.  It includes math word problems, logical thinking, close listening and cardinal directions.

This breakout is about the Transcontinental Railroad.  Students will read closely for comprehension, consider character traits, and solve math word problems using multiplication.

This breakout is about the American Revolution and includes math word problems, close reading for comprehension, 

This breakout is based on the early American settlements including Jamestown and Roanoke.
