Google Meet - There will be a Google Meet at 11:00 today for anyone who can join. If this is your first one, check the directions for joining Google Meets on our page for Thursday, January 6's Home Learning. (FYI - I think from now on I will keep our Google Meets at 11:00 daily. We've had the most students join at 11:00, so we'll go with that!)

Reading - Snuggle up in your coziest spot with your books and read. You can read to yourself or ask a sibling, babysitter, parent, grandparent, etc. to partner read with you - take turn reading and listening to each other. Another option is logging into Epic! (it is linked on our Google Classroom) and reading some books online.
Time: 20 minutes

Art (In lieu of Writing Time today) - Today I am posting an Art for Kids Hub video to teach you how to draw a snowman. Grab a pencil, eraser, coloring tool and paper and follow along! Don't forget that you can pause the video if you need extra time. You could play the video once and just listen and watch and then play it again and do your drawing - it's up to you.
Time: 20 - 30 minutes
Materials Needed: paper, pencil, eraser, coloring tools, device to access Google Classroom
Math - Number of the Day - pick one of your number cards and use that number to do the number of the day work.
Counting - Use your 100 objects that you gathered yesterday to count. First, make groups of 10. How many groups of 10 can you make with 100 objects? Use your groups to count by 10 - 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90 ,100. Next, take each group of 10 and break it into 2 groups of 5. How many groups of 5 do you have? Use the groups of 5 to count by 5's to 100 - 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100. Put your objects back in the container/baggie.
Card Game - Use your deck of cards to play Go Fish! or War with a friend, baby sitter or family member.
Time: about 30 minutes
Materials Needed: number cards, paper/whiteboard for Number of the Day work, reference charts below for Number of the Day, 100 objects to use for counting, deck of cards
Health and Wellness - I am adding a Cosmic Kids Star Wars Yoga to the Yoga link on the 'Classwork' tab of our Google Classroom. If the video does not work for you, you could ask an adult to search "Cosmic Kids Star Wars Yoga" on Youtube (on a device other than a school chrome book)

Specialist Class - Music or Phys. Ed- Check out Ms. Syndi's Music site for Home Learning or Ms. Ross's site for Phys. Ed. You can find them through this Google Site - they are both under the "Students" tab at the top of this page but I will also link them below. You can check both daily or alternate between the two from day to day.
