Common Tests take place once per term - usually shortly after each half term. Papers are graded A*-E.
To assess progress in each of the competencies, teachers will consider performances in the most recent Common Test along with performances in any recent class tests.
Competencies C1-C3 will be assessed at every grading point while Competency C4 will only be assessed in the Summer Term.

Primarily we will be helping students answer the question "What can we learn from beyond the UK?". A lot of the maths that we learn this year has a rich history and is linked to a diverse array of individuals and civilisations. We will explore this further during the course of the year.
