Music and musical instruments
Learners show their progress against each of the competencies in their class and homework. They are also common assessments over the course of the year as follows:
Autumn Term - Reading and Listening (Competencies 1 and 2)
Spring Term - Speaking (Competency 3) and Writing (Competency 4). All learners will also write a poem for Mother Tongue, Other Tongue Competition under the theme of the Big Question - "What shapes our identity?"
Summer Term - End-of-year Exam (Competencies 1, 2, 3 and 4)

The course focus mostly on "What shapes our identity?" Of course, students will be able to share aspects of their visible identity but the will also be able to share aspects of identity which are usually more hidden.
