Learners show their progress against each of the competencies in their class and homework. They are also practical assessments over the course of the year as follows:
Autumn Term - Fire on the Mountain, baseline assessment (Competencies 1 and 2)
Spring Term - Invisible Friends, scripted performance with written reflection (Competencies 1, 3 and 4).
History of Theatre - Students will interpret a range of stimulus material and create a weekly sharing of work insprired by theatre from around the globe. At the end of this unit students complete a written reflection (Competencies 1, 2, 3 and 4).
Summer Term - End-of-year Lowry inspired performances based on the Big Question, What shapes our identity? (Competencies 1 and 2)
