As humans we absolutely love storytelling. We are also visual creatures, so watching films brings these two things together. Films have the power to immerse us in other worlds and to inspire us to see the world in a new way.

Some films help us figure out our identity, other films teach us about injustice or raise our awareness about issues that we previously knew nothing about. We watch some films to distract us and entertain us or even scare us. From films, we learn about new worlds - worlds of the past, present and impossible-to-imagine futures.
