Forgotten Password

If you forget your password there are two ways to reset it:

• Reset via email
• Reset on-screen

1. Reset a password via email

• Go to your ePortal login screen
• Click the Forgot Password? link.

The Forgot Password? screen appears:

• Enter your username and click the Reset via email button.

The following screen appears:

Note: The message at the top of this screen confirms that the system has automatically generated a temporary password and has notified the ePortal administrator via email.

• If you have a personal email address registered an email will be sent to you containing a link to reset your password. If you do not have a personal email address registered, you will need to speak to the ePortal Administrator to get your temporary password
• Once you have the temporary password, click on the Sign in with Google button at the bottom of the sign in screen
• Enter your username and this temporary password in the fields of the Google Sign in screen
• Click the Login button on this screen
• You will be taken to a page to reset your password:

• Follow the instructions on the right-hand side of this screen to create the relevant complexity for your password. See the Password Policy page for more details.

• Click Reset Password at the bottom of the screen.

The following disclaimer screen appears, confirming your password has been changed:

Note: If your password does not have the required complexity, you will be requested to re-enter a new password.

• Click the Accept button.

You will then see the User Dashboard:

2. Reset password on screen

Note: The instructions assume that your security questions have already been set up in the system.

To reset your password on-screen at any time:

• Enter your username and click the Reset On-Screen button.

You are then asked your three security questions before you can enter a new password. Note: Your answer entries are not case-sensitive.

• Enter the answers to these questions and click the Submit button.

The New Password screen appears:

Note: If your answers to the security questions are incorrect, you are returned to the reset screen.

• Follow the instructions on the right-hand side of the New Password screen to create the relevant complexity for your new password. See the Password Policy page for more details.
