My name is Tara Lear. I am the Instructional Coach at Martin Elementary. My purpose is to partner with educators at Martin to improve student learning for all. I strive to build teacher capacity through professional learning, collaboration, and implementation of effective instructional practices. I look forward to seeing you at school events and parent education opportunities throughout the year! 

If you are not a Texas native, you are not alone! I originally grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Loyola University Maryland. I received my Masters of Science Degree from University of Wisconsin Madison where I specialized in Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, and Educational Leadership!

My husband and I love living in Celina! When I am not at school, you can find me spoiling our two fur babies, Fitz and River! We enjoy attending Friday Night Market and walks at Old Celina Park! We are expecting our first baby this August!
