Students create a bare-bones presentation outline document.
The teacher describes the exercise of creating a bare-bones presentation outline. Each aspect should contain a title and 1 sentence of text describing what will be communicated. Teacher provides an example of a PPT outline, Cholera Bare Bones PPT. Students who are doing PPT should have 8-12 slides depending on their storyboard.
Using their research and the Disease Website Challenge information structure as a guide, students create a bare-bones outline document. It is important that this activity is limited to 20-25 minutes, so that students do not get caught up in presentation design.
Students submit the bare-bones outline at the end of the class period.
