The AP CSP exam consists of two major components.
The Create Task
A video of a pair collaboration explaining the inputs and outputs of a set of coding requirements
An individual written response about the coding of the Create Task
Multiple Choice Exam
An explanation of the Create Task is shown in a one hour video on the AP CSP website and it is highly suggested that you have your students view this webinar multiple times for homework.
The requirements for the Create Task with example response questions are also available and listed as a resource at the end of this page.
Activity 9.1 (150 minutes)
Have students watch the AP CSP Create Task webinar at the link below for homework. Then have the student pair work together to make the video using their Jukebox project (Note: the jukebox project is intentionally missing the requirement to have selection and iteration as part of the melody procedural abstraction/custom functions. This way students who realize this without your help can modify the jukebox project to fulfill all the requirements of the Create Task).
Have the students individually respond to the Create Task questions then share and provide feedback to each other on their responses.
