Welcome to Beaufort Elementary: Sailing Towards Success!
School Spotlight: Celebrating Our Team
The Positivity Project (P2): This week, our school community will focus on the character strength of Enthusiasm. Enthusiasm means approaching life with energy and excitement, and it helps bring joy to those around us.
Seadog Students of the Week:
Lachlan Kelly- he uses his problem solving skills.
Audrey McKay- always setting the example for her classmates.
Connor Barrow- always being a hard worker.
Trevor Allen- Perseverance: working hard throughout the day.
Miles Cooper- engaged and using self-control when answering questions.
Connor Chadwick- he consistently goes above and beyond with his classwork and provides encouragement to his classmates.
Important Schedule Reminders:
The moment our Seadogs have been preparing for all year has arrived! Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will begin their End-of-Grade (EOG) assessments this week. Please note the official schedule:
Thursday, May 21st: ELA / Reading EOG Assessment
Friday, May 22nd: Math EOG Assessment
Wednesday, May 27: Science EOG (5th Grade Only)
How You Can Help Our Seadogs Succeed:
To ensure our students can focus completely and perform their absolute best, we ask for your partnership in the following ways:
Be On Time: Testing begins promptly at the start of the school day. Please ensure your child arrives at school early or on time so they can settle into their testing environment without feeling rushed.
A Restful Night: A good night's sleep is the best fuel for a sharp mind. Please help your child get to bed early on Wednesday and Thursday nights.
Eat a Healthy Breakfast: Please make sure your child eats a filling breakfast at home or arrives early enough to eat in the school cafeteria before testing begins.
Health Office Update: This is a reminder from the Health Office that the final day to pick up student medication is June 4th at 12:00 p.m. Any medication remaining in the office after that time will be properly disposed of. Please note that a new medication order will be required for the 2026–2027 school year. If you have any questions, please contact Nurse Anna.
Final Day for Lunch Visitors was Friday, May 14th. As we approach our End-of-Grade (EOG) testing window, our school schedule becomes very dynamic to accommodate the testing environment.
Technology Return Just a reminder that students are no longer permitted to take school technology home. All devices must remain on campus as we begin our end-of-year inventory and preparation for testing.
The 5th Grade End Of Year Ceremony will be held on June 3rd at 8:30. We welcome you to join us as we say farewell to our oldest Seadogs. They will walk through the hallways one last time at the end of the ceremony.
Seadog Students, if no one has told you today, know that Mrs. Clemmons deeply cares.
