Welcome to Beaufort Elementary: Sailing Towards Success!
Happy New Year, BES Families! Our students have returned with wonderful energy, and we are excited for the progress this new quarter will bring.
P2 Word of the Week: Kindness
This week, our students are focusing on Kindness. In the Positivity Project (P2), kindness means being generous to others, giving your time and attention, and doing good deeds for others without expecting anything in return.
Seadog Students of the Week:
We have some incredible Seadog Students to celebrate this week who are already starting the year strong:
Jackson Anfinson, for challenging himself and never giving up.
Marquan Sharpe, for working so hard on his personal behavior goals.
Kennedy Grevelding, for always jumping in to lend a helping hand to others.
Layla Merkley, for her kindness in helping a classmate find the right materials for class.
Mason Dowdy, for showing amazing creativity—he even built a Lego camera from scratch during inside recess!
Dustin Moyer, for his dedication to our News Crew and for helping out in the library on his off-days.

Staying Healthy Together
To keep our "crew" healthy and in the classroom, we kindly remind you to adhere to our school health regulations. If your child is feeling unwell, please ensure:
They are fever-free for 24 hours (without the use of fever-reducing medication) before returning to school.
They have not experienced vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours.
Please notify the front office or the school nurse if your child is diagnosed with a contagious illness.
Seadog Students, if no one has told you today, know that Mrs. Clemmons deeply cares.
