Welcome to Beaufort Elementary: Sailing Towards Success!
School Spotlight: Celebrating Our Team
This week, we want to extend a massive Thank You to Officer OC! We are so grateful for everything he does to keep our hallways safe, our students smiling, and our school running smoothly.
The Positivity Project (P2):
This week, our students will be diving into a review of the P2 (Positivity Project) strengths. It is a great time to ask your child which character strengths they’ve noticed in themselves or their classmates lately. Reviewing these traits helps us build a stronger, more empathetic school community.
Seadog Students of the Week:
We are proud to highlight the following students for demonstrating leadership, empathy, and school pride:
Alexander Lewis & Colton Rea: For demonstrating exceptional teamwork and collaborative problem-solving during their Math WIN (What I Need) session.
Summer Urban: For showing incredible selflessness and empathy. After receiving the instrument she initially wanted, Summer voluntarily traded with a classmate to ensure they felt included and had a positive experience.
Jane Silovich: For taking personal initiative to maintain the beauty of our campus by assisting with litter collection in the playground area.
Lucas Daley: For exhibiting leadership and school pride by proactively cleaning up the common areas in the hallway and near the facilities.
David Beck: For his consistent kindness and willingness to assist both staff and peers in the cafeteria.
Attendance Matters: Every Minute Counts
At Beaufort Elementary, we value every instructional minute. When students leave early, they miss vital end-of-day wrap-ups and core instruction.
Early Check-outs: Please be mindful of early check-outs. We ask that these be limited to necessary appointments, such as doctor visits.
Sign-out Deadline: For safety and to ensure a smooth dismissal process, we cannot sign students out after 2:30 PM.
