Welcome to Beaufort Elementary: Sailing Towards Success!
This week, our school will focus on the character strength of Self-Control. Self-control means having the ability to control your emotions and behaviors. You think before you act.
Seadog Student of the Week:
We are celebrating our students who have demonstrated outstanding character and dedication this week! Their positive actions help make our school a wonderful place to learn.
Brantley Marohn: Always showing gratitude.
Luke Tankard: For promptly coming into the room and putting all of the chairs down.
Caroline Jenkins: For always lending a helping hand to friends when needed.
Carter Smith: For turning in a bookbag he found in the bathroom.
Elijah Chavez-Jennewein: For showing perseverance and an excellent work ethic.
Charlie Barker: For being a hard worker and a great help to everyone.
A Huge Thank You to Our BES PTO & Community
We are absolutely thrilled to share a massive thank you to our incredible BES PTO and everyone who participated in the recent Wobble Down Front Street event!
Because of your hard work and dedication, the event raised over $12,000 to directly support Beaufort Schools. This phenomenal contribution will make a significant impact on our students and classrooms. Thank you for your leadership and commitment to our school community!
We also extend our deep gratitude to all of our families and staff for the time and commitment demonstrated on and around the Thanksgiving holiday. We hope everyone enjoyed a safe and restorative break.
Upcoming Event: Peppermint Village Holiday Shopping
The highly anticipated Peppermint Village is starting this week! This is a fun opportunity for students to shop for small, affordable gifts for family members.
Please remember: If you would like your child to participate in the shopping, please send cash with them this week.
Important Date: Holiday Sing-Along & Early Release
Mark your calendars for a wonderful morning of song and celebration before Winter Break!
Holiday Sing-Along: Each grade level will be singing during our annual Holiday Sing-Along on Friday, December 19th, at 8:30 AM. Parents are invited to join us to hear our students perform!
Early Release Day: Please note that Friday, December 19th, is also an Early Release Day. This marks the official start of our Winter Break. Please ensure your transportation plans are updated for this early dismissal time.
New Drop-Off Procedure:
To improve traffic flow and ensure student safety, all students will unload from their vehicles before the intersection to enter the school building. This change helps prevent congestion in the immediate intersection area.
This new process will begin on Monday, January 5th.
Safety Reminder for Walkers:
If your child is walking up from the parking lot and needs to cross the intersection, a parent or guardian must escort them across the road to ensure their safety.
Seadog Students, if no one has told you today, know that Mrs. Clemmons deeply cares.
