Celebrating Seadogs of the Week:
Novah Logan Perseverance Novah has been recognized for always trying her best. No matter the challenge, she approaches her work with a positive attitude and a "can-do" spirit that inspires those around her!
Vaughn-Allen Baker: Self-Control Vaughn-Allen showed incredible maturity this week. When someone accidentally messed up his work, he stayed calm and practiced self-control!
Paisleigh Lewis Collaboration Paisleigh was a shining star in the art room! She demonstrated excellent teamwork, helping her peers and making sure everyone was able to create something beautiful together.
Oliver Murphy Respect Oliver is a model of manners at our school. He is consistently recognized for being polite, always saying "excuse me" and "yes ma'am" to staff and students alike.
Isabel Burge-BarefieldCitizenship Isabel showed great pride in our school grounds this week. She took the initiative to clean up trash on the playground, making our play area a better place for everyone.
Charlie Barker & Marcel Andrew: Inclusion During recess, Charlie and Marcel showed what true friendship looks like. Both students stopped playing their game to include another student who was looking for a friend to play with.
As of today, Monday, February 2, 2026, Beaufort Elementary and all CCPS schools will be CLOSED due to weather conditions.
STUDENTS: It is a Snow Day! There is no school and no remote learning required for Monday. Enjoy the snow!
STAFF: Monday is an Optional Remote Workday.

Prospective Family Tour Day Date: Wednesday, February 18th Time: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM Do you know a family looking for a new school home? We are hosting a Tour Day for new and prospective families. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to see our classrooms in action, meet our staff, and learn more about "The Ship." Please spread the word to your friends and neighbors!
🎭 Black History Program Date: Friday, February 20th Time: 8:30 AM Location: School Gymnasium You are cordially invited to join us for our annual Black History Program. Our students have been working hard on performances, readings, and presentations. We look forward to seeing our community come together for this special morning of inspiration.
