CCTV cameras are installed throughout the Canadian Academy campus for the safety of students, staff and visitors. A warning sign about CCTV in operation is always visible in areas where CCTV cameras are in use.

Review CCTV recording
The Head of Facilities, the Headmaster or the Principal can view the recorded CCTV footage.
The recorded CCTV footage is not available to the public.
Government authorities can gain access to CCTV footage with an official request.
Retention policy
The recorded CCTV footage is stored on a server with a rotating cycle for one week. When the server has no more space, older recordings are erased.
Maintenance of CCTV
The current CCTV system, installed in December 2015 will be upgraded in 2025, break maintenance will be supplied by Canon Systems on an as needed basis.
