Irregular Plural Nouns

quenching - to satisfy (one's thirst) by drinking

opaque - not able to be seen through

avarice - extreme greed for wealth or material gain

confidence - to feel certain about the truth

flustered - to be agitated or confused

drenched - to wet thoroughly; soak

delicate - easily broken or damaged; fragile

A conclusion is a decision or opinion that makes sense based on facts and details.

You can use information you read about as well as your own personal experiences to draw conclusions.

Irregular Plural Nouns

A plural noun names more than one person, place, or thing. An irregular plural noun does not follow the rules of a regular plural but instead has a special spelling, or can sometimes be the same word for both singular and plural forms.


Some examples are child/children, foot/feet, deer/deer, goose/geese, leaf/leaves, mouse/mice, ox/oxen, sheep/sheep, tooth/teeth, life/lives, man/men, woman/women.
