2. To facilitate the returning of borrowed books and materials without violating health protocols prescribed to prevent further transmission of COVID-19 infection.
This service is offered to let library patrons drop off their finished books and media in book drop boxes. Drop boxes are located at the main gate and 2nd gate of the university.
Step 1: Contact your College Librarian to schedule your OLIBOR.
Step 2: Place the book/s in the drop box for return.

This service is designed to provide library orientation for the students and faculty.

This service provides virtual assistance to library users to help them in their research needs. This may include requests for photocopying and scanning of research materials.

OBR is one of the services provided by the Bulacan State University Library. It allows library clients to borrow books for home use, for photocopy, and for scan via email request and Google Forms. Library patrons who wish to avail this service can photocopy and scan up to 10% of one chapter of the book.
STEP 1:

The Clients can only request two (2) books wherein 10% of the book pages to be scanned, which are shared through google drive.

** For safety and security measures, the library staff will be the one to drop and retrieve the material to be photocopied at the photocopying shop located at Graceland Mall in front of Robinson’s entrance.
** There is no agreement between the library staff and the photocopying shop with regards to the fee of the materials photocopied, the client will be the one to shoulder the fees incurred.

Clients may borrow books for home use subject to library policy.

2. To facilitate receipt of recommendations from BulSU library clients through non-physical contact transactions in the effort to develop library collections.
Online Book Suggestion service is designed to provide access to resources tailored fit to the request of the library community. Students and faculty may send their suggested books to be purchased via BulSU OPAC and via e-Mail and social media accounts.
Clients may suggest books thru Bulsu OPAC
Step 1: Please Login to your OPAC (Online Public Access Catalog) email, if none register using your BulSU portal email.
Step 2: After registration/log-in, kindly look for the purchase suggestion tab and click.
Step 3: Fill out the necessary fields.
Step 4: Please Click “Submit your suggestion” button once completely filled out.
VIA ONLINE FORMS
The Clients can suggest books thru Google Forms provided at the BulSU Aklatan google site.
Step 1: Go to University Library G-site, Go to Forms Tab,
Step 2: Select the Google Form for "Online Book Suggestion" or click the link http://tinyurl.com/BulSU-OBS
Step 3: Provide the necessary fields the bibliographic information (Title, author, copyright year, subject etc.) of your book suggestion. Then click submit.

This new service has been created because BulSU Library wants to put a new twist in the promotion of its services through social media platforms and to assure the user-community that this academic library is not only concerned about its collections and other physical facilities. Similarly, the BulSU Library is also after teaching and inculcating in the minds of the user-community the passion and love for reading, the necessity to be information-literate, the need to be abreast with the current trends and most of all the need to learn the basic life hacks and simple instructions which can definitely help the people to be functional in the performance of their daily activities.
