In Central London, just a short walk from Harley Street, two historic buildings at 25 and 27 Queen Anne Street have been seamlessly merged and redeveloped. The result is 1,600m² of state-of-the-art office space. While the project retains the original facade, a super-slim floor construction allows for remarkably high and airy ceilings.
The building's low-energy environmental strategy is highly efficient, combining chilled ceilings and displacement ventilation with the use of the floor slabs' thermal mass to mitigate heat. Inside, a compact core, meticulously detailed in hardwood, contains the vertical circulation and restrooms, ensuring the office floors remain as spacious as possible. A new facade at the rear now wraps a small, sunlit courtyard.
