Shared lab computer priorities
The first priority for shared lab computers is for running participants
Lab computers are not personal computers!
If for some reason, you must check email or social media accounts, please do so in an Incognito tab in Chrome
Don't change any settings or install/uninstall any programs without the express approval of the lab manager!
"At the risk of sounding hyperbolic, messing around with settings or installing programs could be catastrophic. A few years ago, the release of OS X Yosemite prompted a massive freak-out among the Matlab community because the new operating system broke Matlab. It took MathWorks a few weeks to deliver a patch that resolved the issue. Don't be the reason why your labmates can't conduct their research!" -- Jae-Young Son (201?)
