On our wiki's "new members" page, they will be directed to complete the following tasks:
If they have previously completed CITI training at another institution...
They will need to log onto the CITI website, affiliate with Brown University, complete Group 4 training, then email their training credentials to the lab manager
The lab manager will then make a copy for record-keeping, and also forward the credentials to irb@brown.edu
If they have never completed CITI training before...
They will need to complete Group 1 (for Social-Behavioral-Educational Researchers), and preferably complete the elective modules entitled "Internet-Based Research" as well as "Students in Research." No other training is required!
They will then need to email their training credentials to the lab manager, who will make a copy for record-keeping (no need to forward to IRB; they will get a copy directly from CITI)
