Applicants will be asked to fill out a Google Form available on the front page and "Members" page of our website.
All applicants' responses will be collected in this form (access restricted - ask Lab Manager for access).
If you need to recruit additional RAs, please browse through the "pool" of applicants (from the Google Form) and contact applicants that you find personally compelling.
When contacting a potential RA for a follow-up interview, here are some important things you may want to ask them:
What are your long-term goals/plans, and how will the lab help you achieve them?
What kinds of skills/experiences do you want to get out of working in the lab?
Are you committed to working approximately 10 hours/week for a full academic year?
What is your communication/work style?
Once you have determined that you want to "hire" a new RA, please notify the Lab Manager, who will assist with administrative on-boarding procedures.
To ensure there are people applying to the lab if you are anticipating the need for an RA:
Email a CLPS admin (Michele_Barchi@brown.edu) who can circulate your RA ad to relevant department listservs
Email the CLPS/Neuro/CS undergraduate group leaders to circulate your RA ad to their respective undergrads
