Adobe Reader is a great resource available to all Brown employees. If you do not have Adobe Reader on your computer, you can download it from the Software Catalog. This application will allow you to view and print PDF files, which can be attached to emails and uploaded into Workday.
To save a document, email, receipt, etc. as a PDF (Windows):
1. Open a file in a Windows application.
2. Choose File > Print.
3. Choose Adobe PDF as the printer in the Print dialog box.
4. Select Print. Type a name for your file, and select Save.
To save a document, email, receipt, etc. as a PDF (MAC):
1. On your Mac, open the document you want to save as a PDF.
2. Choose File > Print.
3. Click the PDF button or click the down arrow to open the PDF pop-up menu, then choose Save as PDF.
4. Choose a name and location for the PDF file.
To save an iPhone image as a PDF:
1. Go to the Photos library on your iPhone
2. Go to the photo you would like to save as a pdf
3. Click the share icon and select Print
4. Click the box with the arrow pointed upwards in the top right corner to save it as a PDF
5. Select the Gmail App and send it to your Brown email address
6. Open up your laptop or computer and click on the email with the attachment
7. Download the attached PDF
