Policy
It is the policy of Brown University that only authorized drivers affiliated with Brown University are permitted to drive a University vehicle. A University Vehicle is a vehicle that is owned, leased or rented for University business. Use of a University vehicle is restricted to authorized University related activities including but not limited to recruiting trips, team travel, clinic travel, etc.
Coaches and staff must be an authorized driver in order to operate a University owned or rented vehicle. Use this link to Request Driver Authorization and Training. Use of an Athletics van without prior notice to the Athletics Business Office is not permissible.
Wright Fuel Express Card Policy:
Each van has a fuel card that remains in the vehicle. Authorized drivers are assigned a valid personal identification number (PIN) for the fuel cards. Fuel should only be purchased using the fuel card assigned to the van.
