My name is Sharif Rice and I am a 12th grade music major. As a writer I consider myself as primarily a fiction writer. I like writing stories in fiction because it allows me to tap into my imagination and creativity and tell a story without having to get all the facts of the events correct because it’s made up. Even in the case of my story “The Half Brother which is about a guy named Evan Ali Wolf and how his 21st birthday was in 24 hours and his world shifted when he found out about his brother. I took something that happens in families that either bring them together or tears them apart. In the second chapter “Reconcile” I demonstrate how the protagonist made a choice that allowed him to connect with his brother.
