Lisbeth Hernandez is a 16 year old visual artist at Boston arts academy. Why not art? With art you can let your emotions out and be free. Behind every brush stroke, every pencil mark, every print I make I feel like I have the power in my own hands to make a change not only in the world but in humanity. I am an artist that looks into the world and takes the negativity and positivity that's going on around me and I try to put in down on paper. I also try to make more abstract art than realistic art because with abstract art when you have an exhibition or when you show it to others you can let them interpret it the way they please. This also connects to my writing because when I'm writing I don't really like to have a prompt I like to have more freedom and just write from on top of my head and then let people interpret it and connect to it the way they want to.
