Easter is a religious holiday that came about during the second century. It is still one of the most beloved holidays today. Many people who celebrate Easter have various exciting traditions they do each year. Easter traditions include Sunrise Service, Church Services, Easter Egg Hunts, and more!
One of the main traditions during Easter weekend is going to Sunrise Services, followed by Church Service later that morning. Every Easter, my family wakes up and gets ready to head to the Sunrise Service. This is my favorite tradition every year. This is an early morning service where we go and stand in front of the church and hear the pastor speak about the true meaning of Easter— that Christ has risen! You know the service has ended when the sun has risen.
After the service, our church family goes inside and fellowship and eats breakfast together. This is one of my most memorable moments for me during Easter weekend. After eating breakfast, we head back home, enjoy the beautiful sunrise, then get dressed in our spring-colored Easter Sunday outfits. The Easter message is always one of my favorites because it talks about how Christ has risen from his tomb. Just listening to the message and worshipping is what I enjoy this weekend.
Easter egg hunts are another tradition that is popular during Easter weekend. Easter egg hunts are popular during Easter because they’re super fun and exciting. It’s a tradition where kids search for hidden eggs filled with treats or surprise, and it adds to the joy and celebration of Easter.
This has been a beloved tradition for a long time. Egg hunts bring families and communities together, and it’s a great way to celebrate the holiday. Plus, who doesn’t love the thrill of searching for hidden treasures? It’s like a mini adventure for kids. Let’s not forget the joy of finding colorful eggs and the excitement of discovering what's inside. You can find an array of miscellaneous things such as candy, small toys, stickers, and even money! It’s a fun and festive activity that adds to the Easter spirit.
In conclusion, these Easter traditions bring joy, excitement, and togetherness. Whether if its hunting for eggs, it’s about creating special moments and memories with friends and family. They also create a sense of celebration to the holiday. Overall, Easter traditions are loved because they bring happiness and a sense of community during this special time of year.
