Families have different traditions and activities, one that is common is watching movies together. The Capitol will be showing a wide variety of free movies throughout December, including ¨The Darel Carrier Story¨. Carrier was born in Warren County, played basketball for WKU in 1961 and was a 9th round draft pick for the St. Louis Hawks. It will be playing on December 19th at 6:00 pm. Other movies include Jim Carrey's Grinch on December 22 at 5 pm, Love Actually on December 22 at 7:30 pm, Hook on December 26 at 11:10 am, and many more.
The Capitol has had many events ranging from stand up comedians to plays to concerts. It has been a statement in BG´s Fountain Square since 1939 with its old-fashioned look and feel; staying the same as the stores and events change out around it..
With Winter Break coming up and it being a very jolly season, head down to the Capital to watch some new, Christmas, and classic movies. Concessions are available and movies start right on the dot, no previews, so be there on time!
