Hey All! I am Harry Jamerson, a 5th grade teacher based in the beautiful Bayview neighborhood of San Francisco. Writing has always been a passion of mine, and I believe that it's a crucial skill that can benefit students in numerous ways. Through writing, students can express themselves, find their voice, and explore their creativity in a safe and supportive environment.
I firmly believe that writing can help expand our worldview and offer a unique opportunity to connect with others. By sharing our stories and experiences, we can build empathy, understanding, and a sense of community. In camp you will develop your power of writing, find your voice, and expand your horizons!

Marika has been an educator for over 10 years in Oakland Public Schools, and strongly believes in writing as a means of exploration, inquiry, expression, and liberation. Writing helps young people clarify what they mean, and pushes audiences to take seriously young people’s voices - it is a path to their making and remaking the future.
