The lost friend

One day in a deep lush cave there were three animals, Frog,Snake, and Axolotl the three animals would play together every single day. They had so much fun, then Axolotl said “I’ll get some toys”. But Frog & Snake were waiting, and waiting, until they checked up on Axolotl but Axolotl was MISSING!? Frog and Snake were horrified when Axolotl was Missing.

Frog & Snake started looking all over the deep lush cave. They looked in their homes, the pool, and in their friends house. ”We will never find Axolotl” said Frog “Yes we will find Axolotl” said Snake. They were getting so scared and worried that they almost started crying

Until after hours of searching Frog & Snake finally found Axolotl! Frog and Snake were so happy and relieved that they found Axolotl.“ I am so happy that you found me, I was so worried and scared” said Axolotl. “We were also super scared and worried”, said Frog & Snake. “I guess you were right, we would find Axolotl” said Frog, “Yes indeed” said Snake. After that in the bright moonlight they started making up Scary Stories. The animals were pretending to be scared but they were actually giggling “hehehe” said all three animals.

Week 2 Polished Piece

Countdown to extinction

Clap! Clap! It was my 11th birthday. We were celebrating in my house. But soon later I started thinking about the dinosaurs. “Hmm…,” I wondered. As I was reading something happened smoke was circling around me, until I disappeared out of my house. Then I saw that I could time travel!

I stood on my feet then I realized I was sitting on a rock! “Where am I?” I asked. No replied until I heard someone “ROAR” I was confused but then I noticed it was 12 B.C.! That’s when the dinosaurs were around! I started to panic in sweat thinking that I might be eaten by a dinosaur. But there was only one baby Dino. The Dino was cute and friendly but I heard a familiar sound, that was until I realized the METEOR IS COMING!! Chaos struck through the forest and the mountains. CRACK BOOM!! Me and the Dino ran past the burning forest and through the cracked mountaintop. Air turned to smoke and grass turned to fire. My heart was pounding so fast I could hear it through all the chaos.

But I remembered that I could time travel so I did it. Whoosh! We were back to the present! Thankfully the Dino was safe. “You’re a good boy,” I exclaimed then we went to my house and showed my parents. The Dino nuzzled into the couch. But I always remembered the amazing journey through time.
