- To log on the Chromebooks with a Google Username and Password
- To create a 5 slide presentation
- Choose a suitable theme for your presentation
- To use Hyperlinks in your presentation
- Move or copy text between two documents
- Cut, copy & paste text
- Create presentations that include text & graphics
- Format & use themes
- Use a hyperlink with slide (eg, jump to another slide)
- In Google Drive create a presentation.
- Create a new assignment to Google Classroom and add this presentation to the assignment where all the students will receive their own copy.
The River Nile- Open the presentation in Google Classroom that is named 'River Nile Presentation'
- Open the document that you create in the previous lesson.
- Choose a suitable theme for your presentation
- Change your title slide (Slide 1)
- To your second slide add a Slide title 'Contents'
- In the second text box use Bullet Point to list three of the questions that you used in the previous lesson
- Copy and paste the questions from the previous lessons document
- Copy (ctrl-c) the 1st question from Slide 2
- Go to Slide 3 and add a Text box
- Paste (ctrl-v) the question from slide 2 into this text box
- Change the size and colour of the font to match your slide background
- Add an image to the slide that is relevant to your question
- Add another text box and add your answer to the question
- Repeat this process for Slide 4 and 5
- Go back to Slide 2
- Select the whole of the first question
- Click the hyperlink icon
- Hyper link this question to Slide number 3
- Repeat this for the second question to Slide 4 and the 3rd question to slide 5
- Go to Slide 3.
- Add a button by adding a rectangle to your slide.
- Change the text in your rectangle to 'Back to Contents'
- Select the box and choose hyperlink and link this box back to Slide 2
- Copy this box and paste it into Slide 4 & 5
- Test your presentation by click Present
