This could be a project over a week that could focus on design and building of an automated machine. It could hit many different areas of the curriculum including DT, coding & literacy.
This could be a Year 1 & 2 trip. Two different locations on for each year.
A trip to a factory, post office sorting office, fairground etc.
Children would experience automation with machines.
Children can identity different automated machines as part of a discussion on the trip.
Watch Youtube videos on different automated processes, such as biscuits, chocolate bars, iPads etc.

How could the students create their own automated machine?
Students video their automated machine and upload this to Seesaw. They record their explanation of the automated machine and how they achieved the end result.
