Ensure that all students have been assigned to a computer in the computer suite.
Use Impero to log all students onto the generic using name for the Reception Year group.
Create a Google Classroom assignment for both reception classes and attached the following document so that all students will have a copy. (You will need to make a copy of this document first)

Get the link of the assignment from Google Classroom (click the three dots and copy link) and then use Impero to send this document out to all computers in the suite.

Students open the document with Google Classroom.
They have to navigate around the grid using the arrow keys and then use the Fill tool to change the colour of the square they are in.
They try to fill as many of the squares as they can.
Talk about the curser and how the line flashes when it is in a square. This identifies the current square.
They must not use the mouse in this exercise.
