We are excited to present our newest program within the Mary Lou Fulton College for Teaching and Learning Innovation:
Behavior Analysis, Bachelor of Science (BS)!
The job market for Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) is experiencing rapid growth with a projected demand to increase by 22% over the next decade, significantly faster than average across all professions. With increased autism awareness and applied behavior analysis (ABA) interventions proven highly beneficial for addressing developmental and behavioral disorders, our faculty and program directors are eager to provide students with the most up-to-date, accurate, and effective skills and knowledge to prepare them for careers in ABA and special education.
Our Bachelor of Science in Behavior Analysis equips students with the knowledge and applied skills needed to understand and influence behavior in ways that improve individual and community outcomes. Students will gain essential skills to assess and affect behavior in a variety of settings, learn to measure behavior, and then design and implement research-based interventions. Students will learn to analyze treatment effectiveness in schools, clinics, and various community organizations that focus on learning, behavior, and human performance. This fully online program emphasizes assessment, data-based decision-making, and ethical practice across diverse applied settings.
The program is designed to meet coursework requirements for students seeking the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysis (BCaBA) credential. For more information on the certification process, please refer to the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) Handbook. To refer specific state requirements, refer to the US Licensure of Behavior Analysts on the BACB website.
This program is approved for students to enroll in the accelerated master's pathway in Special Education (Applied Behavior Analysis), MA.
Students interested in the accelerated master's program must earn a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ and successfully complete at least 60 credits within the bachelor's program to enroll.
