The minor in Behavior Analysis pairs research and experience to prepare professionals to address behavior across a range of settings including schools, industry, clinics and community using the principles of applied behavior analysis.
Coursework for this program is verified by the Association for Behavior Analysis International as aligned with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board, with knowledge and skills that serve as the foundation for the Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) examination.
Once certified, professionals are then equipped to meet varied behavior needs and make a lasting difference in the community. BCaBA's are also qualified to supervise the work of Registered Behavior Technicians and others who implement behavior-analytic interventions. Students can also choose to obtain the BACB Registered Behavior Technician credential, a paraprofessional certification in behavior analysis.
This minor requires 15 hours of required coursework and is available for students at ASU in Tempe, West Valley, Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, and online.
