Pupil Personnel Services Credential
Prospective Students
To apply for the PPS Credential in School Social Work program, you must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, APU’s Master of Social Work program, or have already completed an MSW degree. You must also have completed your undergraduate degree at a regionally accredited college or university. Please visit the APU MSW PPSC website for more details on PPSC admissions requirements.
Current MSW Students Entering Specialization Year 2024-25
MSW Practicum Application (Due December 3, 2023): Before applying to the PPSC program, all MSW students must complete the general practicum application process and identify their interest in applying for the PPSC program. MSW practicum applications will be emailed in November 2023 to all eligible MSW students entering their specialization year.
PPSC Practicum Application (Due December 3): Both MSW practicum application and PPSC practicum applications are due for eligibility. The PPSC application will be emailed upon completion of the general practicum application.
PPSC Information Meeting (Zoom): Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 6-7pm
This meeting is for anyone interested in PPSC or with questions and would like more information regarding the PPSC program.
Newly Admitted MSW Advanced Standing and Post MSW Students Entering Academic Year 2024-25
MSW Practicum Application (Due February 26, 2024): Before applying to the PPSC program, all MSW students must complete the general practicum application process and identify their interest in applying for the PPSC program. MSW practicum applications will be emailed to students confirming attendance.
PPSC Field Practicum Application (Due March 1): Both MSW practicum application and PPSC practicum applications are due for eligibility. The PPSC application will be emailed upon completion of the general practicum application.
