2023-24 GSWEC Training Didactics Dates:

GSWEC didactics are training requirements that provide valuable learning opportunities in geriatric social work for GSWEC students held during three of your field practicum days. Details of the training and locations or Zoom links will be emailed to your APU email by the GSWEC consortium at least one week prior to the event. Please save the following dates.

Didactic #1: Wednesday, October 25, 2023 (Live Virtual)

Didactic #2: Wednesday, January 24, 2024 (Live Virtual)

Didactic #3: Wednesday, February 28, 2024 (Live Virtual)

GSWEC Macro Project 

Once admitted, all GSWEC students must complete a macro project related to their internship in working with older adults. Previously with agency approval, some APU students have been able to use their APU Capstone Research Project as their GSWEC Macro Project. Please check with your agency for details.
