The California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) establishes and oversees the requirements of the Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) in School Social Work and Child Welfare and Attendance. The CTC requires that as part of the practicum experience, students document their hours, the activities related to school social work and child welfare and attendance, practicum instructor’s confirmation of hours, and practicum instructor’s evaluation of learning goals.
