Welcome APU Social Work students and Practicum Instructors!  The practicum program is a partnership among the student, the practicum instructor (agency supervisor), and the APU social work department. During the practicum internship experience, students will learn how to integrate social work theory and practice skills while in a supervised internship setting. To maximize the practicum experience, students are encouraged to proactively seek out learning opportunities at the assigned practicum internship agencies. The time spent in practicum internship is truly a transformative experience.
