Approved practicum education settings provide a challenging learning environment for the BSW and MSW student under the supervision of an experienced BSW, MSW or LCSW. practicum agency selection is based on specific criteria including, but not limited to, appropriateness of setting for learning needs, expertise of practicum instructors, and the provision of sound practicum instruction consistent with the mission, objectives, and goals of the APU BSW and MSW program.
