Kindergartners have been raising their painted lady caterpillars and waiting anxiously for them to become butterflies.  In anticipation of that, students used their creativity to design a paper butterfly using various designs.

The kindergarten scientists were hard at work again today!  They received their painted lady caterpillars this week and got to make observations using hand lenses.  They then created drawings of what they observed.

Kindergartners have been learning about what plants need to grow.  They applied what they studied to planting their own radish seeds.  They'll make observations to see how quickly they grow in the classroom.

Kindergartners are learning about classifying items as living or non-living.  They went on a nature walk to the outdoor classroom.  On their walk, they filled out a checklist of some of the living and non-living things they observed.
